The Best Age to Live Until: Personal Reflection and Insights
Everyone has their own way to consider the best age to live up to! My philosophy is a bit different. I believe that the best age is when an individual no longer needs others' support to live a comfortable life!
The aging process accelerates rapidly after the age of fifty and even more so after sixty years. By the time people reach the age of sixty, they often deal with various medical issues. Fortunately, a small fortunate group manages to live a life without any medical interventions even past this age!
The question arises: any age is considered best until a person can take care of himself well and meet his daily needs without much trouble! A well-cared-for individual can comfortably live up to seventy-five years or so! After the age of seventy-five, no matter how hard one tries, the aging process starts showing its impact. However, there are a few exceptions!
My Personal Views on the Best Age
As I look back on my life at 76, I can’t think of an age that was the best. Every age has had its ups and downs! I know that some people can pinpoint a favorite age or decade, but I remember both joy and pain from every phase in life and cannot choose one age over another!
At 73, I might say that this age is very close to it! Sure, many people might think of their 20s or 30s, but the key is to look at what benefits this age provides! House and cars paid off, credit cards settled—no debts in the world! I no longer have to work, and I am free from any boss's control. I sleep late, take naps whenever I want, and can watch movies late into the night without any hindrance.
I have both time and money, which is a rare combination in my life! No stress, no tension, and I relax all the time. My blood pressure has dropped by 30 points as a result of these stress-free days!
The Challenges of Younger Ages
Let’s take a look at the challenges of younger ages: the 23-year-old stage. At 23, many individuals own nothing, have no job, or work only part-time. Loneliness and fear are common emotions. Financial stresses such as car payments, housing costs, and credit card debts are prevalent. The only good thing is their looks, but that doesn’t pay the bills!
At 23, they have a longer future ahead of them. However, this future is riddled with decisions: marriage, children, career, and income. While these choices are daunting, they bring about the satisfaction of having grown and experienced life to a certain extent. So, Mr. 23-year-old, I wish you luck, as you're gonna need it!
Conclusion
To conclude, the best age to live up to is when one can manage everything on their own without burdening others. It is a good time to depart when one starts facing difficulty managing daily routine activities on their own. From my experience, age 73 feels like the perfect age, free from stress and financial burdens and fully immersed in peace and relaxation!
