Navigating College Studies: My Journey and Strategies

Introduction

My path through college was not a straightforward one. It was a journey of discovery, experimentation, and adaptation. I started out in a multidisciplinary Business Information Technology program, ventured into marketing and international business, and finally settled in Art History, which I ultimately graduated with. Each subject I studied was a stepping stone, albeit a bumpy one, that helped shape my understanding of the world and my future career plans.

I would rehearse the presentation multiple times—usually two or three—and would be ready to go. Being a product of an Italian high school, where oral tests rather than presentations are common, I was always skilled at speaking confidently in front of an audience.

Managing Work and Study

A major challenge was juggling a full-time job with my studies. I managed this by enrolling in a limited number of classes each semester, rarely taking more than two classes at a time. This allowed me to attend only two to three classes per week, leaving me with precious days to complete assignments and prepare for exams.
